In addition to being a pet journalist and content writer, I know the horse world very well, as a former horse park executive and competitor in the hunter/jumper ring. In that role, I often collaborated with top competitors and officials. As an equestrian journalist and content writer, I won a United States Equestrian Federation Media Award, too!
