Travel, Lifestyle and Other Articles
Stories make readers feel something—happiness, nostalgia or passion—which builds trust and emotional bonds. Journalists combine intensive research, sharp storytelling skills, and a dedication to accuracy. For brands, compelling, well-told stories encourage visitors to explore, stay longer, and share the content, leading to higher engagement.
Consumer Travel, Lifestyle and Human Interest
My work in the airline and travel industry informs my writing about consumer travel and destinations. I'm a resident of New Zealand by application (I live in the U.S. now), and have collaborated as a journalist with both Tourism Australia and Tourism New Zealand. Lifestyle and human interest journalism help us live smarter, and learn from those who do (or don't!), combining educational value with entertainment.
I've written for Time, The Boston Globe, AFAR and the Los Angeles Times, among many. For the industry, I've contributed to TravelAge West, Travel Agent, Luxury Travel Adviser, Hotel News Now and more.

Airlines and Travel Industry
The recipient of a United Airlines Corporate Award of Merit, I speak airline, with a decade spent in media relations across three carriers and start-ups. I provided systemwide communications support across 105 cities for one airline. Whether it’s fares, labor, crisis, safety, destinations or product launches, I’m conversant in all. This helped me easily transition to global travel journalism, where I have been published in many of America’s consumer and trade travel outlets and numerous international publications.
