Print and Digital Journalism
For more than 15 years, Steph has provided editorial content for more than 200 consumer, custom, trade and association publications and websites: articles, blogs, sticky slideshows, podcasts and videos.
Health and healthcare
Maybe you’re looking for a creative approach to a story backed by a new study. You need a fluent translator of “medical speak” or an in-depth analysis of health policy. Steph interviews top specialists in their fields daily, and excels at inquisitive, compassionate consumer interactions that yield remarkable “aha moments.”
By the way, how are you feeling today?
Travel and lifestyle
As a former media relations professional and spokesperson for three international airlines, Steph has written and talked extensively about airline fares and amenities, destinations, and the industry itself, as well as about hotels and properties—with a focus on luxury—for consumers, travel agents and investors. She covers beauty, fashion and other amenities of the “good life.” Oh, and she loves an upgrade.
“I don’t like to share my personal life… it wouldn’t be personal if I shared it.” That’s George Clooney reflecting on the challenges of celebrity. Millions of people can’t get enough of celebrities and their personal lives—what they say, eat, drink, wear and own. Stephanie has interviewed more than 100 celebrities, most in the age 45+ demographic—one-third of the U.S. population. Read or watch her interviews with celebrities including Kathy Griffin, Nicole Kidman, Joshua Malina, Olivia Newton-John, Jack Coleman, Wesley Snipes and so many more. Her content stars their health and lifestyle habits and current projects in the biz’.
Pets and Horse/Equestrian
To know them is to love them, and Steph has a few. We’ll leave it at that. She’s written a long list of consumer and trade pet stories, including veterinary, and donated pro bono writing projects for animal charities. She’s an expert in equestrian, a former state horse park VP and competitive hunter, equitation and jumper rider. Steph has written regularly for more than a dozen equestrian publications—including industry and retail—and received a USEF Media Award.
Steph writes cross-platform branded content for television networks and stations, content marketing agencies, hospitals, associations and health insurance companies. She produces articles—branded or native—ghostwriting, newsletters, press releases and press kits, scripts— audio and video—white papers and case studies, and e-zines and e-books. Just please don’t ask her for an annual report (math). With a background in corporate marketing, media and public relations, she’s poised to understand your objectives. What’s on your list now?
She knows social media and SEO. Bring on those titles, tags and descrips! She’ll write and help schedule your LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest posts—packing plenty of editorial meat into those few characters.
Ask her for a list of corporate clients in her specialty areas, and then ask her what she can do for you in content marketing. Steph will fit right in as a member of your team, instead of working an outsider. She’ll ask the right questions to convey your targeted messages, so consumers have a clear understanding of what you have to offer.
Steph has extensive experience writing branded content that captures her clients’ DNA. Her work doesn’t “feel like” an advertorial, but skillfully walks the fine line between advertising and editorial, conveying the right voice, tone and style—at just the right time. If the time is now for you to produce great content, let her help.
