Let me share a bit about Stephanie Stephens—that’s me. Looking back, my career started at VOGUE, CBS, then three international airlines. That was followed by a move to radio and television. Next I went to to a state horse park as Vice President. Now I revel in the creative joys of freelance journalism and content work.
Variety is the spice of a fun career. I’m also a producer for factual, non-fiction TV/streaming, and for podcasts. On that subject, I’m a voice over artist and podcast and on-camera host. I write audio and video scripts. For fun, I work, and I work out almost every day. I love a good challenge and there’s nothing like heavy weights, a long run, or good yoga pose to make me forget what might be bothering me.

Education:
I have a master’s degree in journalism and business from New York University and a B.A. in communications, cum laude, from Wake Forest University and the City University of London, U.K. I attended Thread at Yale 2018 to hone a special journalism project.
Belonging:
I’m a member of the Association of Health Care Journalists (AHCJ), and the producers’ group of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (Emmy).
Perspective:
Global in outlook, I’ve lived and worked in 16 cities including Charlotte, Winston-Salem, New York, Chicago, London, Houston, Los Angeles, Denver, San Antonio, Auckland and Sydney. Now living in Orange County, California, I’m a legal New Zealand resident by application. Kia Ora!
Philanthropy:
I aspire to help every animal in need, with the help of my 501(c)3.
